We are always so humbled to be trusted with your heirloom pieces. This client’s father had passed away about a year ago and had inherited a beautiful star sapphire ring from him. She came to us with the hopes of remaking it into a more delicate, feminine, everyday piece. She wanted to look down at her hand and think of him.

Our Saucer Ring was the main inspiration for this remake. She loved how comfortable it felt on her finger and how the diamonds around the stone added a bit of sparkle (difficult to see the pretty sparkle in our pictures). The star sapphire, a unique gemstone characteristic that shows a  star ray across the face of the stone, was placed at the center of a sparkling diamond pave halo and the ring was set in a polished yellow gold. We could not be more honored to have created such a special piece. We have said it before, but it is true, jewelry is one of the best ways to keep loved ones close by.
