We are M. Flynn, a sister-owned jewelry boutique in the South End that offers a different experience for shoppers combining both fine and fun costume jewelry. We serve the modern jewelry customer who mixes high and low jewelry. M. Flynn designs fine jewelry in-house, including engagement rings, and carries designer jewelry from a selection of brands such as Brent Neale, Anna Sheffield, Foundrae, Lizzie Fortunado and La Californienne. We love jewelry, have a fun unique environment and we are looking to add the right person to our team!

Retail Sales Associate

About

We are looking for a person with a strong sales background (ideally in jewelry, but open to other luxury products), great customer service skills, and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

– Creating a positive and rewarding client experience, that is warm and hospitable in all customer interactions
– Achieving sales goals through exceptional client experience and relationship development
– Possessing strong product knowledge of M. Flynn’s products, brands, and services
– Advising and assisting customers with their choices of M. Flynn pieces for themselves and for gifts
– Working with the M. Flynn team to ensure excellent client experience and contribute to a positive environment

Clienteling & Customer Service

– Responding to and resolve client issues, comments, and complaints
– Following jewelry intake processes for custom projects and repairs
– Capturing all clients data in support of building and developing lasting relationships
– Keeping clients engaged and up-do-date with current inventory based on interests and needs

Store and Operational Support

– Assisting with opening/closing procedures
– Assisting with daily upkeep of the store as needed (inventory, organization, restocking of supplies)
– Merchandising, styling and overall daily maintenance of the jewelry cases
– Partnering with support team in the repair process and follow up on customer communication
– Working with vendors and designers to fill customer orders & follow each order through the production process
– Helping with in-store event planning and personal client invitations

Requirements

– Extremely strong and proven sales skills, preferably in fine jewelry
– Can work in a collaborative environment
– Strong styling eye and personal taste level
– Experience with relevant social media platforms
– Effective interpersonal and communication skills
– Solution oriented, self-starter
– College degree or work experience equivalent
– Strong computer skills (Lightspeed a plus but not required)
– Pass all security and background checks
– Ability to work Saturdays

Production Coordinator

About

M. Flynn is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team. This role is an integral part of supporting the custom and repair parts of our rapidly growing businesses. The ideal candidate will be very detailed oriented & extremely organized.

Key Responsibilities

– Facilitate the processing and completion of all custom orders and repairs
– Monitor due dates to ensure timelines are met and clients are updated regularly
– Review completed projects to ensure they meet our standards
– Monitor all material shipments to and from our vendors
– Keep track of all raw materials and initiate replenishment orders
– Keep track of project costs and keep all costing records up to date
– Support team with custom quotes
– Quote out materials to make sure we are getting competitive pricing

Requirements

– Extremely organized with attention to detail
– Math skills
– Ability to multi-task
– Can work in a collaborative environment
– College degree or work experience equivalent
– Strong computer skills (Lightspeed and Excel a plus but not required)
– Pass all security and background checks
