A cool client (she also has an amazing dog named Flynn) came to us with her grandmother’s cocktail ring that was very sentimental but sat in her jewelry box. She really wanted something that she could wear every day and had fallen in love with some prong-set designs that we had previously made for other clients. The ring had a mix of different sized round and baguette cut diamonds, so we thought that bunching the stones together to make an over sized stud would be the best option. There were plenty of stones in the ring so we didn’t have to worry about adding any material. Our client loved the idea of turning the ring into a pair of cluster studs that would fill the ear and never be taken off. Are you jealous? WE ARE!
