A client came to us looking to make a custom ring for her husband. He had mentioned to her that he loved a ring that he’d recently seen. It reminded him of one that he had always seen his father wearing. He remembered him wearing a thick golden ring with a large green stone.
We created this stunning golden band with an oval Emerald bezel-set in the center. It turned out exactly as she had hoped and we love the final result! Her husband was so surprised and loved the sentiment. A custom piece of jewelry is the perfect way to honor a loved one and always keep them close to you. Another ring was made using a diamond that once belonged to our clients mother. He had been given a ring that she owned, and wanted to incorporate it into his new ring. He also wanted to make it a bit more masculine, and really loved the idea of giving it an octagon shape. We made it extra chunky to add more masculinity, and so that the diamond could sit flush in the band.
He wanted to use the gold from his mother’s ring, so we melted it down, and used it for the inner base of the ring. The client loved the two-toned look, so we used platinum for the outer part of the ring. The result is so stunning and unique, and the perfect way to re-purpose jewelry that hadn’t been worn! We created this ring for a client who wanted something different than the classic band, but still had a touch of New England style. We thought that this nautical rope design was the perfect fit!
