M. Flynn has been changing the jewelry landscape in Boston since it opened 15 years ago. M. Flynn designs jewelry including engagement rings and wedding bands in-house, and also carries jewelry from incredible makers like Anita Ko, Brent Neale, Kwiat, Melissa Kaye and Marie Litchtenberg.

With a focus on the country’s most wanted designers and M. Flynn’s own custom jewelry program, the store serves the modern jewelry customer who mixes high and low pieces and seeks jewelry that fits their personality and lifestyle.

Project Manager

M. Flynn is seeking a Project Manager who is passionate about jewelry and fashion, has exceptional attention to detail, is customer-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Position Overview:
We’re seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee custom and special-order production, support new product development, optimize shipping protocols, and help maintain seamless collaboration across teams. This role requires a hands-on, resourceful problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Custom & Special-Order Production

  • Manage the full lifecycle of custom jewelry and special orders
  • Work closely with M. Flynn production vendors to ensure quality and timelines
  • Create customer estimates and update project statuses regularly
  • Source materials; identify new vendors and best pricing
  • Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy

New Product Development

  • Determine costing for M. Flynn products and maintain accuracy as material prices fluctuate
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to help schedule product launches
  • Manage stock levels for M. Flynn-produced items

General Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate custom projects from start to finish
  • Develop and implement domestic and international shipping protocols
  • Set and pursue goals to grow custom project revenue
  • Support store initiatives such as organization and vendor relations
  • Foster a collaborative, communicative team culture by setting a positive tone

What We’re Looking For:

Web and Marketing Assistant

M. Flynn is seeking an experienced Web and Marketing Assistant who is passionate about jewelry and fashion, has exceptional attention to detail, and is excited to join a fun, creative, and unique workplace. We love what we do — and we’re looking for the right person to grow with our team!

Position Overview:

  1. Flynn is seeking a creative, digitally-savvy Web and Marketing Assistant to support the brand’s online presence and in-store experience. This role blends e-commerce, digital marketing, and social media strategy — ideal for someone who loves storytelling, design, and making data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities Website Management:

  • Upload and update products with photos and descriptions with SEO best practices
  • Maintain product suggestion features and keep website content current and user-friendly
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager and developer to test and implement new design and feature updates
  • Publish weekly/monthly blog posts aligned with new collections, designers, social media promotions, marketing incentives, or store events
  • Track online sales trends and create actionable reports (e.g., year-over-year, by category or brand)

Marketing & Social Media Support:

  • Create and schedule weekly/montly email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Organize photoshoots and maintain a content/product list for campaigns
  • Help plan instore and off-site M. Flynn events
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team on in-store and customer-facing events (e.g., Mug Club, Self Car(a)et)
  • Develop and publish engaging daily and weekly content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Plan and manage content calendar for team
  • Create compelling short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks) using CapCut, Canva, Splice, or any other necessary applications
  • Monitor social media conversations, comments, and reviews to maintain M. Flynn’s brand integrity
  • Develop user-generated content (UGC) strategies to highlight real customer experiences
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and creators aligned with the brand voice
  • Track and analyze performance of paid and organic campaigns using Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics

In-Store Responsibilities:

  • Support daily store setup, breakdown, and sales when needed
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment

Education Requirement:

  • Successfully complete GIA’s Introductory Jewelry course (independent study, Paid by M. Flynn)

Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Enthusiastic about jewelry, marketing, and digital trends
  • Must work Saturdays
  • Creative with strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills
  • Interest in watching trends in social media and implementing these trends
  • Analytical and data-informed, with a keen eye for optimization
  • Organized, collaborative, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
  • Excited to grow within a supportive and stylish small business
