You might remember that around this time last year we made a pretty unconventional engagement ring for a woman who wanted a pearl instead of a diamond.

Projects like hers are fun for us because they’re a bit off the beaten path of the designs we usually work on. The final product was so unique and interesting, and the same now goes for her wedding ring. Just like last time, she wanted something different — and we wanted to share what we came up with.

The four rope motif bands are topped off by a swirl of glistening sapphires. We think the end result is super cool. What do you think? Would you choose a non-traditional wedding band or would you stick to the classics?
