[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]We’re very excited to bring in the Partners In Crime Collection by Audrey C. Jewelry. We love the interlocking handcuffs with colorful enamel and beautiful pave diamonds that make totally unique necklaces, bracelets, and rings.

The designer behind this bright collection is a jewelry expert, working at Christie’s Auction House, and created this fun line that we can’t stop trying on here in the store. Get to know more about Audrey C. Jewelry below![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]How did your career in the jewelry business begin? Was jewelry always an interest of yours?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]My Jewelry career started in 1989 with my first job in the jewelry department at Christie’s – I learned from prestigious professionals who taught me all about period jewelry and important diamonds. After Christie’s I took gemology classes at the GIA and worked at Demner Gallery specializing in Art Deco and Retro period Jewlery from Vienna Austria.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Tell us about your experience working at an auction house and if it impacted the way you design jewelry.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Meeting fascinating jewelry designers, important diamond dealers and collectors all influenced me in a certain way either with precious stones or design .

My favorite and most influential periods are deco circa 1920’s very geometric and circa 1980’s using color enamel … Working at Christies  taught me so much, never a dull moment …. Once I put in a pair of earrings  at auction estimated $3,000-4,000 and they sold for $45,000!  Always surprised with rare or celebrity’s collections who had never been seen before. Best part are my friendships – truly until this day my closest friends.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What motivated you to start your own jewelry line?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]My children motivated me, I wanted to carry them with me – I created this initial bangle , soon my friends all wanted it.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15281″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What inspired the “Partners in Crime” Collection?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]“Partners in crime” for me is a sentiment – you always have a partner by your side & everyone is unique, we have all colors ![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Can you tell us about the materials used in the collection? What type of Enamel do you use and why?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]My enamel is the best part of my collection. I learned this technique from Jean Schlumberger at Tiffany’s, its a pearlized enamel to reflect shades of color to brighten the gold.  Actually, we share the same enameler as Tiffany’s.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]What’s next for your jewelry line?[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]My style is to mix new with vintage jewelry – chic with classic!

Just finished some beautiful creole hoops, rings and ID choker/bracelets all in colors to represent personalities.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Email us at info@dev.mflynnjewelry.com to learn more about the line![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15280″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
